What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our Web site you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and Web site use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our Web site.

Credit Card Information

If you choose to purchase products or services from us or our partners, you may need to give personal information and authorization to obtain information from various credit services. For example, you may need to provide the following information:

• Mailing address
• Email address
• Credit card number
• Home and business phone number
• Other personal information (i.e. mother's maiden name)

When you send confidential personal credit card information to us on our Web site, a secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our web site.

Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just ‘‘surfing’’. IMPORTANT NOTE:

There have been no actual reports of credit card information being stolen online from any web site! In fact with the use of two-way encryption as on this site, your credit information is much safer than if your credit card leaves your possession, such as in a restaurant or at a gasoline station.

Credit Card Transactions:

Credit card transactions are processed by CSI (Cardservice International) http://www.cardserviceinternational.com/ A professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is supplied to Rowater Systems. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. Rowater Systems does not maintain a copy of the credit card information on its servers.

Who has access to my information?

We do not share personally identifiable data with other companies (apart from those acting as our agents in providing our Service to you, who agree to use it only for that purpose), except as necessary to fulfill a transaction you have requested, or unless you otherwise give us permission to do so. Rowater Systems may also share such information in response to legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.

Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Web site, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. As our client, you will be given the opportunity to notify us of your desire not to receive these offers by clicking on a response box when you receive such an offer.

If you choose to correspond further with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. Internet 'cookies' are not used. Our web store uses cookies that keep track of items ordered. They are used so a user can shop and maintain a list of items in their "shopping cart" and have a total due calculated. A user does not have to supply any personal information unless they decide to complete an order and pay via credit card. Orders can also be printed and paid by mail or fax without entering any information. These cookies are not used for any other purpose.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

If, however, we are going to use users’’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email.
